A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient, to a regular blood test.

The blood sample is then placed in a centrifuge, which spins it at a high speed to separate the different components of the blood. This process separates the PRF from the rest of the blood components.

Once the PRF is separated, it is prepared for application to the treatment area. PRF is rich in platelets, growth factors, and other bioactive substances that can stimulate collagen production and skin rejuvenation.

The treatment area is cleaned and numbed with a topical cream to ensure comfort during the procedure.

There are two main techniques used for PRF application. In the first method, the PRF is injected into specific areas of the skin using small needles. In the second method, micro-needling is performed, which involves tiny in the skin and then the PRF topically. The micro-injuries from the needles or microneedles stimulate the body’s natural healing response and promote collagen production.

After the PRF skin-tightening treatment, there may be some redness, swelling, or minor bruising at the injection or micro-needling sites. However, these side effects are usually mild and temporary.
