A school in New South Wales has been forced to shut after fears a student has contracted .
Green Point Christian College on the state’s Central Coast closed on Friday while a senior student is tested for the virus.
All students have been told to stay at home as a ‘precaution’ and test results are expected to be given on Friday afternoon.
‘The school has been advised by NSW Health as having a possible but unconfirmed case of COVID-19,’ Principal Phillip Nash said.

‘A senior student from our school will have further tests and further communication will be issued this afternoon to advise if they have tested positive for COVID-19.
‘The school will be non-operational for the on-site attendance of staff and students today as an extra precaution while we await confirmation of the result.’
NSW Health urged any staff or students suffering flu like symptoms to get tested.
Details on when students can return to the school are expected to be given by the end of the day.
